About me

I'm Klára — born and raised in Prague, with a background in economics, who has fully immersed herself in the never-ending world of yoga and Pilates.

A world that truly inspires and fulfills me – not only through physical practice, but also through the wisdom that surrounds it.

I'm fascinated by how beautifully interconnected the human body is. I love studying anatomy and understanding how all systems work together. I'm equally drawn to the power of breath, balance, and focus. For me, it's not only about knowing, but truly understanding. This path keeps bringing me new insights – and every time I start to feel comfortable on it, something comes along that takes me back to the very beginning, where I rediscover the same things, but from a new perspective.

But let's take it step by step. I've been practicing yoga for over 16 years. I started with Bikram yoga, which taught me patience and quickly increased my flexibility. I loved that feeling of a complete mental reset that Bikram brings at 42°C – you're simply proud of yourself for surviving it!
Over time, I discovered the deeper philosophy of yoga – realizing that it's not about sweat and struggle, but rather harmony, stillness, connection, joy, and awareness of oneself. I shifted toward a more static hatha practice, and today my favorite style is vinyasa for its smooth, flowing rhythm – often blended with elements of Pilates.

At the end of 2023, after leaving a managerial position in the corporate world, I decided to dedicate more time to myself. I traveled to India, where I lived for several weeks as a yogini and completed a Yoga Alliance 200-hour teacher training in hatha and vinyasa yoga. After returning to the Czech Republic, I finished another intensive 200-hour teacher training at Karma Yoga, certified by the Ministry of Education and completed with a state exam.
I'm also completing a Pilates instructor certification at IQ Pohyb and, for fun, practicing handstands at PragueHandstand. Of course, it doesn't end with certificates — there is always more to learn, and I already know this will be a lifelong journey. I'm grateful, though, that I can share what I've learned with others.

You can practice with me in regular group classes at HelaYoga Studio in Dejvice, in private one-to-one sessions tailored to your needs, or through individual sound therapy with Tibetan singing bowls.
This year (2025), I also combined my managerial and teaching experience to help successfully open ORIGAMI Yoga Studio in Žižkov – a beautifully designed space with a bright, glass-roofed hall. I teach there every Tuesday, often blending dynamic yoga with Pilates elements.

I prepare each class with care and intention, always bringing a theme to reflect on. Come and give it a try – whether you're a beginner or advanced, do it for yourself.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat.

Namaste,
Klára

Yoga

The goal of yoga is not only to exercise but primarily to find inner peace, harmony with the surroundings, and most importantly, with ourself. To be aware of your body, your breath, and how you feel. Yoga teaches us all this and provides a certain perspective. With regular practice, you will quickly start to feel the results.

Pilates

The result of a long-standing rehabilitation program method, adopted by the new era for the development of physical and mental health. It helps strengthen the body, relieves stress and fatigue, and boosts good mood.

Barre

Dynamics, energy, elegance, femininity. All this describes barre - an extraordinary workout that combines Pilates techniques with ballet, yoga, and active cardio, helping you burn calories quickly!

Tibetan bowls

The sound and especially the vibrations of Tibetan bowls aid in deep relaxation and heal numerous health issues such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, digestion problems, headaches, menstrual pain, infertility, and much more.
